Seat Belt Warning Light Neither Blinks Nor Illuminates After Ignition Switch Is Turned On
- Check warning light. Remove bulb from rear of instrument panel and check for burned out bulb. If not okay, replace warning light. If okay, proceed.
- Check wire harness between control unit and warning light. Disconnect combination meter connector. Disconnect control unit connector. Measure resistance between combination connector and control unit connector. Resistance should be: i15 No.1 to R43 No.5/1 Ohm max. If not okay, repair harness. If okay, proceed.
- Check wire harness between warning light and fuse. Disconnect combination meter connector. Turn ignition switch ON. Measure resistance between combination meter connector and body, and between combination meter connector and fuse. Resistance should be: i15 No.9 to Body/1 MOhm min. i15 No.9 to No.15 Fuse/1 Ohm max. If not okay, repair harness. If okay, repair control unit terminal poor contact or replace control unit.
