Trouble Code 25-Both Front And Rear Limit Switches (On Passenger's Side) Are Off
Check for open signal circuits of front and rear limit switches. Symptom includes: Shoulder anchor does not move in direction of faulty limit switch.
- Check front and rear limit switch connections. Visually check connectors or disconnect and reconnect until a click is heard. If not okay, reconnect firmly and recheck. If okay, proceed.
- Check front and rear limit switches. For front limit switch: Move shoulder anchor to front end. Disconnect front limit switch connector. See Figure. Measure resistance between front limit switch connector terminals. Resistance should be: 1 MOhm min. For rear limit switch: Move shoulder anchor to rear end. Disconnect rear limit switch connector. See Figure. Measure resistance between rear limit switch connector terminals. Resistance should be: No.1 to No.2/1 MOhm min. If not okay, replace limit switches. If okay, proceed.
- Check front and rear limit switch wire harnesses. Disconnect two connectors from control unit. Disconnect front limit switch connector. Measure resistance between front limit switch connector and control unit connector, and between front limit switch and body. Resistance should be: B87 No.2 to R43 No.14/1 Ohm max. 887 No.1 to Body/1 Ohm max. Disconnect rear limit switch connector. Measure resistance between rear limit switch connector and control unit connector, and between rear limit switch connector and body. Resistance should be: R25 No.2 to R43 No.13/1 Ohm max. R25 No.1 to Body/1 Ohm max. If not okay, repair faulty parts. If okay, repair control unit terminal poor contact or replace control unit.
