Trouble Code 15-Front And Rear Limit Switches (On Driver's Side) Off.
Check for open front and rear switch signal circuits. Symptom includes: Shoulder anchor does not move in direction of faulty limit switch.
- Check front and rear limit connectors for proper contact. Visually check connectors or disconnect and reconnect until a click is heard. If not okay, connect connectors firmly and recheck. If okay, proceed.
- Check front and rear limit switches. For front limit switch: Move shoulder anchor to front end. Disconnect front limit switch connector. Measure resistance between front limit switch's connector terminals. Resistance should be: 1 MOhm min. For rear limit switch: Move shoulder anchor to rear end. Disconnect rear limit switch connector. Measure resistance between rear limit switch connector's terminals. Resistance should be: No.1 to No.2/1 MOhm min. If not okay, replace faulty limit switches. If okay
- Check front and rear limit switch wire harnesses. Disconnect two connectors from control unit. Disconnect front limit switch connector. Measure resistance between front limit switch connector and control unit connector, and between front limit switch connector and body. Resistance should be: B24 No.2 to R43 No.1/1 Ohm max. B24 No.1 to Body/1 Ohm max. Disconnect rear limit switch connector. Measure resistance between rear limit switch connector and control unit connector, and between rear limit switch connector and body. Resistance should be: R16 No.2 to R43 No.17/1 Ohm max. R16 No.1 to Body/1 Ohm max. If not okay, repair wire harness. If okay, repair control unit terminal poor contact or replace control unit.
