Removal (Loyale)

  1. Remove rear hub cap. Remove cotter pin and loosen castle nut. Raise and support vehicle. Remove axle shaft. See DRIVE AXLE SHAFTS  under REMOVAL, DISASSEMBLY, REASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION. Remove castle nut, washer spring and center piece from center of rear hub.
  2. Disconnect and plug brakeline at inner trailing arm bracket. Remove brake assembly from inner trailing arm. Remove inner trailing arm mounting bolts and remove arm from vehicle.
