Reassembly & Installation (Justy)
- Clean rear housing and spacer. Check for deformation or damage to housing and spacer. Install new bearings and oil seals. Pack bearings with grease. Use appropriate press to install inner bearing and oil seal into housing.
- Apply grease to inner housing. Install spacer into housing. Press outer bearing and oil seal into housing. Install rear housing onto axle shaft. See DRIVE AXLE SHAFTS .
CAUTION:
On vehicles with anti-lock brakes (ABS), DO NOT
damage toothed wheel.
