Installation (Justy)
- Use Installer Cap (922320000
) and Installer (921360000
) to install axle shaft into rear housing. See Fig 1
. Clamp axle shaft in soft-jawed vise. Mount rear housing onto axle shaft. Position installer cap onto hub bearing surface.

- Screw lead screw into axle shaft. Install handle to lead screw. Hold lead screw with wrench to prevent lead screw from turning. Press housing onto axle shaft by turning handle. Ensure that excessive load is not applied to outer seal during press procedure.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Install inboard joint to differential using NEW retaining spring pin. Install center piece and washer spring in correct order. See Figure
. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
