Temperature Gauge & Sending Unit: Legacy

  1. If temperature gauge does not operate, check power supply. If power supply is defective, check and repair wiring between battery and fuse. If power supply is okay, check temperature gauge sending unit. See TEMPERATURE GAUGE SENDING UNIT  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace sending unit if defective.
  2. If sending unit is okay, check ground circuit and wiring harness. Repair ground circuit if defective. If ground circuit is okay, replace temperature gauge.
