Temperature Gauge & Sending Unit: Justy

  1. If temperature gauge indicates below COLD with ignition switch in ACC position, replace temperature gauge. If temperature gauge indicates below COLD with ignition on, ensure fuse is okay.
  2. Replace fuse if defective. If fuse is not defective, check for defective wiring harness between battery and fuse box. Repair as necessary.
  3. If fuse is not defective, check for 12 volts between Yellow/Red wire and ground at electrical connector on back of instrument panel. If 12 volts does not exist, check for broken wiring between fuse box and instrument panel. Repair wiring as necessary.
  4. If voltage does exist, connect a 18.5-ohm resistor between Yellow/Red wire and ground at temperature gauge sending unit. If temperature gauge indicates 240°F (115°C), replace sending unit. If temperature gauge does not indicate 240°F (115°C), replace temperature gauge.
