Resistance Test (Justy, Loyale, XT & XT6)

  1. Remove and unplug fuel tank sending unit. With float at empty position, use an ohmmeter and measure sender resistance. Ohmmeter should indicate 7 ohms.
  2. With float at 1/2 full position, sending unit resistance should be 33 ohms. With float at full position, sending unit resistance should be 95 ohms. Replace sending unit as necessary.
