Removal & Installation

  1. Remove timing belts and crankshaft sprockets. See TIMING BELT under CAMSHAFT. Pry seal from cylinder block.
  2. To install, apply oil to outside surface of seal and grease on seal lip. Using Seal Installer (499567000), install seal in cylinder block. Install remaining components. Tighten bolts to specification.
