Instrument Panel - Electronic: Operation: Speedometer

Speedometer cable revolutions are transmitted to vehicle speed sensor. Pulse signals corresponding to the vehicle speed are produced by photo coupler. Signals are counted by the counter circuit, memorized, and sent to the display circuit to be displayed. Display is updated every half second.
