Removal & Installation

  1. Remove flywheel or drive plate. It may be necessary to remove oil separator plate to gain access to oil seal. Pry oil seal from cylinder block.
  2. To install, apply oil to outside surface of seal and grease on seal lip. Using Seal Installer (499587000), install seal in cylinder block. Install remaining components. Tighten bolts to specification.
