Removal & Disassembly

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove trim cover on top of strut. Remove nuts attaching strut to body. Push lower arm down and pull out coil spring.
  2. Remove bolts attaching strut to spindle housing. Remove strut from vehicle. Clamp strut in vise. Loosen strut rod lock nut while holding rod with Allen wrench. Remove components from strut.
