Removal and Installation

  1. Remove engine from vehicle. Remove transaxle from engine. Remove flywheel or torque converter flex plate to gain access to rear seal.
  2. Pry oil seal from clutch housing and coat new seal with oil before installation. To install new oil seal, feed lip around crankshaft and push seal in by hand. Install flush with surface of clutch housing.
