Instrument Panel - Electronic: Operation: Speedometer

Revolutions of the speedometer cable are transmitted to the speed sensor. Pulse signals corresponding to the vehicle speed are produced by photo coupler. Signals are counted by the counter circuit and memorized. This memorized data is sent to the display circuit and is displayed. Display is updated every half second.
