Instrument Panel - Electronic: Description

Cluster includes a digital display speedometer and tachometer. Fuel and temperature gauges are displayed in bar graph form. In addition the tachometer and turbo boost are shown in a vertical bar graph on XT Coupe.

A microcomputer runs the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Vehicle speed, coolant temperature and fuel level are indicated using fluorescent display tubes. A warning buzzer emits an intermittent signal when engine speed is in excess of 6500 RPM.

A 7-function trip computer is located in the instrument panel to provide time of day, alarm clock, range to empty, distance traveled, estimated time of arrival, average speed and self-diagnosis.
