Height Indicator Light Blinks
- If light blinks more than 10 minutes, go to step 3). If light blinks less than 10 minutes, disconnect right front vehicle height sensor connector while vehicle height indicator light is blinking. Turn ignition switch "OFF" and then "ON" to see if height indicator light blinks again. If not, right front vehicle height sensor is faulty and should be replaced. Repeat procedure for other height sensors. If all height sensors are okay, go to next step.
- Remove control unit. Ensure body connector terminals of vehicle height sensors are grounded. If not, repair wire. If unit ground was okay, control unit is faulty.
- Connect pressure gauge to system. Remove left front mudguard. Perform following tests to see if height of tested suspensions increases:
- Ground right front solenoid valve terminal No. 1 and compressor terminal No. 5.
- Ground left front solenoid valve terminal No. 2 and compressor terminal No. 5.
- Ground right rear solenoid valve terminal No. 3 and compressor terminal No. 5.
- Ground left rear solenoid valve terminal No. 4 and compressor terminal No. 5.
If suspension does not change, there is a faulty solenoid valve or clogged air line. If suspension height did change, go to next step.
- Increase air pressure to 142 psi (9.9 kg/cm2 ). Ground compressor terminal No. 5 and air charge solenoid valves one at a time, then disconnect. Check if pressure drop exceeds 7 psi (0.5 kg/cm2 ) when left unattended for 10 minutes. If pressure drops, air line has leakage. If not, go to next step.
- Check if pressure drop exceeds 7 psi when air charge solenoid valve alone is grounded. If pressure drops, there is air leaking form air tank. If not, follow trouble shooting in VEHICLE RISES ABNORMALLY.
