Pinion Flange & Oil Seal: Installation

Apply grease to oil seal lip. Install oil seal using Seal Installer (398417700 ). Install pinion flange. Hold flange with Flange Wrench (398427700 ) and tighten nut to 123-145 ft. lbs. (167-196 N.m) and pinion flange rotating torque is same as recorded before removal. Stake lock nut. Install remaining components in reverse order of removal.
