Timing Belts And Sprockets: Tensioner

  1. Check tensioner roller for smooth rotation. Replace roller if noise or excessive play is noted.
  2. Measure the out-of-squareness of tensioner roller H. If it exceeds 0.020" (0.5 mm), replace roller.
