Removal & Installation

Valve stem oil seals are used only on intake valve guides. Remove old seal from intake valve guide. Using Oil Seal Installer (898858600), replace with a new seal. When fully installed, oil seal will measure .913" (23.2 mm) from cylinder head surface to top of oil seal. When inserting valve stem, lubricate and use care not to damage seal.
