Valve Spring: Removal

With cylinder heads removed, use Spring Compressor (899724100) to compress valve springs. Remove valve keepers and retainers. Remove and check springs under pressure. Check free length of springs. Replace if necessary. See VALVE SPRINGS  table at the end of this article.
