Valve Lash Adjustment

With adjuster set in an upright position, push adjuster pivot piston down hard and quickly by hand. If pivot piston can be depressed more than .020" (.50 mm), put adjuster in a container of light oil and move pivot piston up and down until adjuster is within specification. If adjuster is still not within specification, replace adjuster.
