Height Control System Inoperative

NOTE: Height control system will remain inoperative during turns, when one wheel is off the ground or traveling over 55 MPH.
  1. Check for defective height control sensor, switch or wire harness. Test for defective control unit or solenoid valve coil. Follow procedure outlined in VEHICLE RISES ABNORMALLY test.
  2. Verify compressor operation and test pressure switch. Pressure switch operating in "OFF" position is 137 psi (9.6 kg/cm2 ). In the "ON" position, operating pressure is 109 psi (7.7 kg/cm2 ). See Figure .
