Intake Manifold: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner assembly. Drain coolant and disconnect all hoses from manifold. Disconnect throttle cable, vacuum lines, fuel lines and electrical connections to manifold.
  2. Loosen both ends of EGR pipe and remove from rear of manifold. Remove 6 manifold-to-cylinder head bolts, and remove manifold.
