Cam Lobe Lift

Measure camshaft lobe height. Standard dimension is 1.2693-1.2732" (32.24-32.34 mm) for camshafts used with solid lifters. Standard dimension is 1.4134-1.4173" (35.90-36.00 mm) for camshafts used with hydraulic lifters. Wear limit is .0059" (.15 mm). If camshaft does not meet specifications, replacement is necessary.
