Shock Absorber: Inspection

Check shock absorber for oil leakage. Oil stains around the area of the oil seal are permissible, but if oil is leaking from the bottom of the shock or has reached the spring seat, replacement is necessary. Check the action of the piston rod for abnormal noise or resistance.
