  1. Disconnect pressure switch. If compressor does not stop, disconnect control unit. If compressor keeps running, repair wiring between compressor relay and control unit or between compressor and compressor relay.
  2. If compressor stops running, check continuity between terminal No. 33 of control unit harness connector and ground. See Figure . If continuity exists, repair wiring between pressure switch and control unit. If not, replace control unit.
  3. If compressor stops with pressure switch disconnected, place height control switch in "HI" and operate vehicle unattended for 5 minutes. If vehicle height increases, replace pressure switch.
  4. If vehicle height does not increase, inspect air tank assembly for leaks or air charge valve for malfunction. Remove air tank assembly and apply 12 volts to solenoid valve and compressor relay. After tank is filled, submerge in water tank to inspect for leaks.
  5. To test solenoid valve, apply 12 volts disregarding polarity. Supply air into valve and verify unrestricted air passage. If air passes through valve freely, solenoid valve is acceptable
