Removal (Turbo Models)

  1. Remove wiring harness from intake manifold by disconnecting at: auxiliary air valve, throttle switch, FICD solenoid valve, thermometer CP, coolant thermosensor, and ground terminal at pressure regulator stay.
  2. Remove pressure regulator and the following from intake manifold and throttle body: vacuum hoses, blow by hose, heater hoses, throttle body hot water preheat hose, and EGR pipe.
  3. Disconnect at the manifold: throttle body assembly, auxiliary air valve, thermostat cover, thermostat and hose, thermometer CP, coolant thermosensor, PCV valve, air relief valve assembly, and vacuum pipe CP.
