Fuel Gauge

  1. On all except GL and GLF models, turn ignition off. If gauge does not drop below "E", replace it. On all models, unplug fuel tank sender. Connect various resistors between sending unit wire and ground.
  2. A 7 ohm resistor should make gauge read full, 33 ohm resistor should make gauge read 1/2 full, and a 95 ohm resistor should make gauge read empty.
