Engine Disassembly & Reassembly: Reassembly

Lubricate all friction surfaces with engine oil prior to reassembly. Install crankshaft and camshaft with bearings in left half (No. 2 & 4 Cyl.) of crankcase. Apply liquid gasket to mating surfaces of crankcase and continue in reverse order of disassembly. Tighten crankcase halves and cylinder heads in sequence shown.

NOTE: Use spacers (899848600) in place of rocker arm supports when tightening head nuts.
