| 1 | Loosen negative terminal (1) with ground line (2) and remove from on-board electrical system battery (G1) | AR54.10-P-0003SR | |
| 2 | Remove positive terminal cover | ||
| 3 | Unscrew nuts (5) from positive terminal distributor (3) and place positive terminal distributor (3) to one side | ||
| 4 | Loosen positive terminal (4) and remove from on-board electrical system battery (G1) | *BA54.10-P-1007-01I | |
| 5 | Remove screw/bolt (6) and remove bracket (7) | *BA54.10-P-1001-01I | |
| 6 | Disconnect vent hose from on-board electrical system battery (G1) | ||
| 7 | Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1) | Pay attention to the ground line (2), positive terminal (4) with positive line and their detachable parts as well as the vent hose. Otherwise they may be damaged. Make sure that the vent hose is correctly seated. Otherwise leaking battery vapor may damage the vehicle. |
