Prepare Side Wall Paneling For Installation - Ar63.10-P-0110-01SR

Model 453.0/3 

1. Scribe separating points on side wall paneling (1) and cut (areas K, K ₁ and L).

   Transfer separation points from vehicle.

2. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on sidewall paneling (1) in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

3. Remove grinding dust.
4. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not apply zinc dust paint to bonding surfaces (area X). Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
