Install Longitudinal Member Outer Shell On Entrance - Ar63.30-P-1102-03SRA

Model 453.3/4 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Install A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member shell on entry (3), fit and fix in place.

2. Drill 6.7 mm rivet holes in A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member shell on entry (3) (areas A, B, C and D).
3. Remove A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member shell on entry (3).
4. Deburr rivet holes on A-pillar outer section (1), longitudinal member shell on entry (3) and body on both sides.
5. Install A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member shell on entry (3), fit and fix in place.
6. Rivet A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member outer shell on entry (3) with 6.5x12.5 rivets (areas V ₁ , V₂ , V₃ and V₄ ).

7. A-pillar outer section (1) and longitudinal member shell on entry (3) (areas W ₁ , W₂ , W ₃ , W₄ and W ₅ ).
8. Install outer rear reinforcement (2), fit and fix in place.
9. Drill 6.7 mm rivet holes in outer rear reinforcement (2) (areas E, F, G and H).

10. Drill elongated hole (area Z₁ ).

    Do not perform for elongated hole too deeply.

    Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

11. Remove outer rear reinforcement (2).
12. Deburr rivet holes on outer rear reinforcement (2) and body on both sides.
13. Install outer rear reinforcement (2), fit and fix in place.
14. Rivet outer rear reinforcement (2) with 6.5x12.5 bind rivets (areas X ₁ , X ₂ , X ₃ , X ₄ , X₅ , and X ₆ ).

15. Outer rear reinforcement (2) (areas Y₁ , Y₂ and Y₃ ).
16. Elongated hole on outer rear reinforcement (2) (area Z₂ ).
17. Outer rear reinforcement (2) (area Z3).
