1. Level residual adhesive material on roof frame using a suitable scraper to a max. height of 2 mm and remove loose residual adhesive material.

   Residual adhesive material on roof frame (1) may be cut back max. 15 min before application of new adhesive bead, as cut surface of adhesive material reacts with ambient air. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

2. Clean bonding area (1) on roof frame with heptane cleaner 3350 (7).

   Use cloth (9) to apply heptane cleaner 3350 (7).

3. Repair paint damage on roof frame (1) with touch-up paint pen.

   Allow primer to flash off for min. 10 -15 minutes.

4. Apply primer on roof frame (1) in areas missing residual adhesive material.

   No primer may be applied on bonding area with residual adhesive material. Bonding area on roof frame (1) must be fully free of dust and grease. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

   Use plastic primer (5) from kit adhesive with heptane cleaner.
