Prepare Glass Pane On Panoramic Roof For Installation - AR77.21-P-0750-02SRA

Do not touch bonding surfaces with bare fingers and they should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other adhesive components or dirt residues.

Otherwise the strength of the glued connections is impaired.

1. Install two cup suction tools.

1. 2.1 When installing a new panoramic roof.

   Clean bonding area on panoramic roof (1) with cleaning cloth (8).

2. 2.2 When reinstalling removed panoramic roof.

   Cut off residual adhesive material from panoramic roof (1) with a scraper down to max. height of 2 mm. Remove adhesive material residues.

   Residual adhesive material on removed panoramic roof (1) may be cut back max. 15 min before application of new adhesive bead, as cut surface of adhesive material reacts with ambient air. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

3. Coat bonding area on panoramic roof (1) with primer stick (6).

   When installing a new panoramic roof.

   Allow primer to flash off for min. 10 - 15 minutes.
