Retrofit Outer Door Sill Molding - AZ68.30-P-0005-01SR

The operation steps below describe installation of the left non-illuminated door sill. Install the right non-illuminated door sill on the opposite side of the vehicle as described here, but mirrored.

1. Measure distance between stop plugs (2) and front assembly position of non-illuminated door sill.

   Distance dimension (a) = 285 mm

2. Mark front assembly position with adhesive strip (3).
3. Pull off support strips from rear of non-illuminated door sill (1).
4. Position non-illuminated door sill (1) on adhesive strip (3) and align parallel with door sill.

   Position non-illuminated door sill (1) so that there is an identical distance from the door sill contour on the right and left.

5. Press non-illuminated door sill (1) toward outer edges, starting from the middle.

   While pressing on, apply pressure directly to bonding points of non-illuminated door sill (1). The maximum adhesive force is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, frost, carwash) or any mechanical stress within the first 24 h.

   Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
