Standing/Parking Lights Actuation, Function - GF82.10-P-3060KJ
MODEL 453.0/3/4
Function requirements, general
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
Standing/parking lights, general
The standing lights/parking lights actuation is used to mark the parked vehicle in poor visibility.
The standing/parking lights actuation is comprised of the following partial functions:
- Function sequence for standing/parking lights actuation
- Function sequence for lights on reminder warning
Function sequence for standing/parking lights actuation
Standing/parking lights actuation is requested by turning the combination switch (S4) to the "Standing lights, parking lights, license plate illumination" position.
The center SAM control unit (N10/10) reads in the status of the combination switch directly and sends the "Standing lights and parking lights" request via interior CAN (CAN B) to the driver-side SAM control unit (N10/11).
Vehicles with code 460 (Canada version) are always assigned code 494 (USA version) at the same time and therefore they have the same lighting equipment. Taillamps in LED technology are standard equipment with code 494 (USA version).
With standard equipment, the driver-side SAM control unit then actuates the following components:
- Left parking light, standing light and daytime running light (E1e13)
- Left front side marker lamp (E1e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Right parking light, standing light and daytime running light (E2e13)
- Right front side marker lamp (E2e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Left taillight and parking light (E3e2) (except with code 494 (USA version))
- Left taillight and brake light (E3e17) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Left rear side marker lamp (E3e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Right taillight and parking light (E4e2) (except with code 494 (USA version))
- Right taillight and brake light (E4e17) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Right rear side marker lamp (E4e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Left license plate lamp (E19/1)
- Right license plate lamp (E19/2)
With code P25 (LED & sensor package), it actuates the following components:
- Left parking light, standing light and daytime running light (E1e13)
- Left front side marker lamp (E1e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Right parking light, standing light and daytime running light (E2e13)
- Right front side marker lamp (E2e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Left taillight and brake light (E3e17)
- Left rear side marker lamp (E3e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Right taillight and brake light (E4e17)
- Right rear side marker lamp (E4e6) (only with code 494 (USA version))
- Left license plate lamp (E19/1)
- Right license plate lamp (E19/2)
At the same time, the driver-side SAM control unit sends the "standing lights indicator lamp" request over the interior CAN to the instrument cluster (A1), which then switches on the standing lights indicator lamp (A1e38).
Additional function requirements for lights on reminder
- Driver door OPEN
- Standing lights ON
- Key in "Remove key" position
Function sequence for lights on reminder warning
The logic for the lights on reminder function is stored in the center SAM control unit.
The center SAM control unit records the status of the driver door directly via the driver door central locking microswitch (M14/6s1). From the information available to the control unit, it generates the request for output of the lights on reminder function and transmits this to the instrument cluster over the interior CAN.
The instrument cluster then actuates the warning buzzer (A1 h1) directly.
