Remove Mounting Bracket For Engine Suspension - Ar64.10-P-2000-01SR

Model 453.0/3/4 

1. Expose spot welds on mounting console (1) and cut out (areas A, B, C and D).

2. Heat mounting console (1) in crosshatched areas with heat gun.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded.

3. Remove mounting console (1).

4. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched inner C-pillar sidewall.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
6. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas E and F).

   Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
