Prepare Panoramic Roof Frame For Installation - AR77.21-P-0800-02SRA

1. Level residual adhesive material on roof frame with suitable scraper to a max. height of 2 mm and remove loose residual adhesive material.

   Residual adhesive material on roof frame (1) may be cut back max. 15 min before application of new adhesive bead, as cut surface of adhesive material reacts with ambient air. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

2. Clean painted adhesive surface on panorama roof frame (1) with cleaning cloth (8).

   Do not touch bonding area (1) on panorama roof frame (1) with bare fingers; bonding area must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components. Otherwise the strength of the glued connections is impaired.

3. Repair paintwork damage on panorama roof frame (1) with touch-up paint pen.
4. Apply primer with primer stick (6) on panorama roof frame (1) in areas missing residual adhesive material.

   No primer may be applied on bonding area with residual adhesive material. Bonding area on panorama roof frame (1) must be fully free from dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease.

   Allow primer to flash off for min. 10 - 15 minutes. Adhesion problems can otherwise arise.
