- Clean bonding surfaces in crosshatched area.
- Slightly remove carrier foils (2.1) of adhesive strips at ends bend 45° toward outer edge.
- Fasten carrier foils (2.1) with adhesive tape on outside of trim piece (2).
- Center trim piece (2) and install on instrument panel.
- Remove carrier foils (2.1) starting in center and press on trim piece (2).
- Dye upper edge (arrow) of factory-side trim piece approx. 15 mm with water-proof pen.
With pale factory-side trim piece.
- Slightly remove carrier foils (1.1) of adhesive strips at ends bend 45° toward outer edge.
- Fasten carrier foils (1.1) on outside of trim piece (1) with adhesive tape.
- Center trim piece (1) and install on instrument panel.
- Remove carrier foils (1.1) starting in center and press on trim piece (1).
