Install Rear Apron - AZ88.20-P-0006-01SR

MODEL 453.3/4 

1. Remove rivet (arrows E).
2. Remove heat shield (2).
3. Remove expansion rivets (3).
4. Remove clip (arrow C).
5. Model 453.3/4 with code 220 (Rear parking assist)

   Model 453.3/4 with code V52 (Combination code for rear parking aid and reversing camera)

   Detach clip (arrow B) on electrical wiring harness (4).

6. Unlock catch hooks (arrows A) and remove rear apron (5).

8. Model 453.3/4 with code 220 (Rear parking assist)

   Model 453.3/4 with code V52 (Combination code for rear parking aid and reversing camera)

   Remove electrical wiring harness (4) from rear apron (5).

   The rear apron (5) is no longer required.

   Cut out notches on rear apron (1) along sprues (broken lines).

   The sprues (broken lines) are preembossed at the factory.

10. Model 453.3/4

    Cut trim piece (1.1) along broken line.

    Drill with corresponding bit to create rounding of trim piece (11).

11. Clean rear apron in bonding area.

    The area to be glued must be free of dust and grease. Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

12. Remove carrier foils from bonding surfaces.
13. Glue trim piece (1.1) to outside of rear apron (1).
14. Turn rear apron (1).
15. Press spring lock washers (12) to stop on pins on trim piece (1.1).

16. Install rear apron (1) on bumper.

    Ensure that catch hook (arrows A) is seated correctly.

17. Install clips (arrow C).

    Insert bracket (8) into rear apron (1) and tighten with bolts (9).

    Brackets (8) and bolts (9) are included in the installation kit.

    Install bracket for right rear parking system distance sensor (B8/8) and left rear parking system distance sensor (B8/9).

    Install right rear parking system distance sensor (B8/8), left rear parking system distance sensor (B8/9) and center rear parking system distance sensor (B8/10) in corresponding brackets.

21. Install expansion rivets (3).

    Model 453.3/4 with code V52 (Combination code for rear parking aid and reversing camera)

    Route electrical wiring harness (4) and fasten with cable tie.

23. Install heat shield (2) and rivet.

    The rivets (arrows) are included in the installation kit.

24. Install nuts (10) on bracket.

    The brackets are located on the side next to the heat shield (2).

25. Drill bracket (11) with 0 4, 5 mm (arrows D).
