Detach/Attach Belt End Fitting - AR91.40-P-1030-02SR

Remove 

1. Turn lock (2) in buckle of seat belt end fitting (1) using suitable screwdriver through 90° in counterclockwise direction.

   The lock (2) latches noticeably into the "open" position.

2. Pull cable eye (3) out of buckle of seat belt end fitting (1).

   Installing 

3. Slide cable eye (3) far enough into buckle of seat belt end fitting (1) until the buckle locks into place and the lock (2) automatically locks in the "closed" position.

   The buckle must latch audibly into place.

   Otherwise, the cable eye (3) is not correctly locked in the buckle of the seat belt end fitting (1).

   Ensure that seat belt and belt end fitting (1) are routed correctly.

   Check 

4. Check lock (2) of buckle in seat belt end fitting (1).

   Check cable eye (3) is correctly seated in buckle of seat belt end fitting (1) by tugging firmly on seat belt. The lock (2) of the buckle in the seat belt end fitting (1) must remain in the "closed" position.

5. Have an assistant check the lock (2) of the buckle in the seat belt end fitting (1) again.

   Have an assistant check that the cable eye (3) is correctly seated in the buckle of the seat belt end fitting (1) by tugging firmly on the seat belt again.

   The lock (2) of the buckle in the seat belt end fitting (1) must remain in the "closed" position.
