The rubber spacer disks (4) are not included in the repair kit for bonded windows and must be ordered via EPC.
The dimension tolerances of vehicles make it necessary to use rubber spacer disks (4) in various thicknesses.
The required thicknesses of rubber spacer disks (4) must be determined on the corresponding vehicle.
- Determine thickness of rubber spacer disks (4).
Transfer number and position of rubber spacer disks (4) from windshield (1) cut out.
The windshield (1) must be flush or max. 2 mm higher than the outer edge of the roof.
The dimension of the height offset (+d) must be equal over the entire width of the outer edge of the roof.
- Glue rubber spacer disks (4) to windshield flange.
