| 2 | Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15). | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. | |
| 3 | Switch on windshield wipers of windshield. | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. | |
| 4 | Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0". | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. Do not switch on electronic ignition lock control unit until the wiper arms (1) have been folded away from the windshield or the rear window. Damage can otherwise occur. with code 889 (KEYLESS-GO) Remove KEYLESS-GO chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and keep outside transmitter range (at least 2 m (78.74 inch)). |

Wiper blades (2) with maintenance indicator. If the protective foil is still present on the maintenance display, ↓ Remove protective foil. If the maintenance display is yellow, ↓ Replace wiper blades (2). |
