| 3 | Unclip bleed hose (3) from bracket (2) | Engine 281.920 in model 453 | |
| 4 | Attach lifting eye (4) with screw/bolt (5) to bracket (2) | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Position engine hoist (6), as shown using support braces, over the engine and align | Fig 3 | |

| 6 | Mount engine hoist (6) using the associated screw/bolt onto the lifting eye (4) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew nut (7) | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nuts (8) | ||
| 9 | Lower the engine with engine hoist (6) until the engine mount (1) can be detached from the threaded pins of the engine carrier | ||
| 10 | Unfasten threaded pin for the engine carrier from the engine mount (1) using a suitable plastic mallet | ||
| 11 | Remove engine mount (1) upwards | ||
| Check | |||
| 12 | Check engine mount (1) for wear and damage | In case of a complaint ↓ Replace engine mount (1). |

| 13 | Position engine mount (1) on engine carrier | ||
| 14 | Tighten nuts (8) | *BA22.10-P-1003-01H | |
| 15 | Raise engine using engine hoist (6) so high that the nuts (7) can be screwed onto the threaded pins of the engine carrier | ||
| 16 | Tighten nut (7) | *BA22.10-P-1004-01H | |
| 17 | Support engine hoist (6), remove with the support braces and guide out | ||
| 18 | Remove lifting eye (4) | ||
| 19 | Clip bleed hose (3) to holder (2) | Engine 281.920 in model 453 | |
| 20 | Install fan | AR20.40-P-5614SR | |
| 21 | Lower vehicle with vehicle lift |
