Notes on D2B ring - AH82.70-P-0001-03A

MODEL 210.0 as of 7/1/98 with CODE 316 (MB D-net telephone (D2B)) with CODE 317 (D-net portable CTEL (D2B)) with CODE 347 (TELE AID emergency call system (D2B)) without CODE 351 (Auto Pilot System (APS)) 

• The components in the D2B ring (station components) in this case are: - Radio (A2)
  • Voice control system control unit (A35/11) (for vehicles with code 813)
  • Interface, telephone (A34/4) or TELE AID control unit (A35/8)
• The information in the D2B ring only flows in one direction (arrows). The information enters in the white insert (white) in a fiber optic cable module M1 to M3 and exits again in the red insert (red) at the next ring component. The D2B ring only is capable of functioning as a closed circuit.

• The voice control system control unit (A35/11) and the telephone interface (A34/4) or the TELE AID control unit (A35/8) are mounted in the left trunk on a control unit bracket on the left wheel arch.
• Before the D2B ring can be expanded it is first necessary to determine the current vehicle configuration

• Print out the actual configuration of the particular vehicle and use as the basis of the conversion.
