| 2 | Remove cable tie from park pawl wire (1) | ||
| 3 | Press grommet (2) out of body toward engine compartment | ||
| 4 | Remove interior flap above engine | AR88.40-P-1100-03MCC | |
| 5 | Unscrew bolt (6) from cover panel (7) and remove cover panel (7) | Only if installed. | |

| 8 | Pry ball head (5) of park pawl wire (1) off relay lever on transmission | ||
| 9 | Detach thrust bearing (3) of park pawl wire (1) from bracket (4) | ||
| 10 | Remove park pawl wire (1) | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order |
