Potential risks
Risk of death
Coming into contact with conductive parts of the 230 V external power supply and improper performance of repair work can cause serious physical injury, which could lead to cardiac arrest in the worst case.
Safety precautions/instructions
- Repair work may only be performed by specially trained personnel who have training in working on household electricity.
- Before starting any repair work, always disconnect the household power supply. To do this, disconnect the connecting cable from the vehicle's outside socket.
- The household power connection for connecting the stationary cooling must be equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter. The rated residual current of the ground fault circuit interrupter must not be more than 30 mA. Also see DIN VDE 0100 part 721.
