	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

	Eliminate damage and complaints after consultation with the customer subject to a separate repair order
1	Carry out visual inspection of soft top	Check soft top for: Damage such as holes, cracks, chafe marks, open seams, Leakage and defective impregnation, Severe soiling and discoloration, brittle points, faded coloring, Defective tension of outer and inner soft top canvas, Faults in rear window and rear window heater. Remarks:

3	Clean seals	Clean all seals as well as their contact surfaces on windshield frame, side windows and soft top compartment lid. Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
4	Coat special thin antifriction agent on the seals	Special sliding roof antifriction agent	*BR00.45-Z-1055-06A
	Apply antifriction oil to soft top seals	Model 208.4, 209.4	SM77.30-P-0010A
5	Close soft top and side windows
	Checking
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
6	Check oil level in the hydraulic unit and correct if necessary	In the event of a too low oil level, determine the cause and eliminate against a separate computation.
