Remove/install oil level check switch - AR18.40-P-5113OMD

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.		 AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1.1 Remove lower engine compartment paneling Model 204.9 AR61.20-P-1105CY
Model 221 except CODE (Z07) Top protection AR61.20-P-1105SX
1.2 Remove bottom sections of soundproofing Model 212, 218 AR94.30-P-5300EW
2 Drain/collect engine oil INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring of oil drain screw.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA01.45-P-1003-01S 
FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine oil *BF18.00-P-1001-01Z 
3 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect from oil level check switch (S43)    
4 Remove screw/bolts (2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA01.45-P-1002-01S 
5 Remove cover (3) for oil pan IMPORTANT Screw screw/bolt M6 x 60 into the threaded holes (4) pry off cover (3) carefully and evenly.  
6 Unscrew screw/bolts (5, 7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA18.40-P-1001-01O 
7 Loosen cable bracket (6) and remove oil level check switch (S43) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace O-ring.  
8 Remove sealant IMPORTANT Clean sealing surfaces. Warm up sealing surfaces on oil pan to achieve better detachment of the sealant. AR01.00-P-0050-01A

Loctite 5970 sealant *BR00.45-Z-1013-01A 
Loctite 7200 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
Loctite 7063 cleaning spray *BR00.45-Z-1046-04A 
9 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Checking     
10 Check engine oil level NOTES The engine oil level must lie between "Min" and "Max". Engine damage can occur otherwise.  
11 Check for leaks with engine running
